Brick 2014 was originally scheduled to take place at the O2 back in May but the demand for tickets was such that an alternative venue was required. The huge popularity of this event is testament to the timeless appeal of Lego, one of the great toys (if that’s the correct description) of recent history and an enduring source of playtime fascination for children of all ages.
Lego dates back to 1949 when it was first manufactured in Denmark and if anything is now more popular than ever, having evolved and adapted to the times and somehow resisted the encroaching domination of video games.
Brick 2014 gives the all-conquering Lego its greatest stage yet with a sprawling 4-day show housed in the vast ExCel London. Visitors will be granted entrance to a Lego wonderland filled with mind-boggling constructions and loads of interactive features include plenty of opportunities to put your own building skills to the test.
