For one weekend in April, Dublin will be home to the largest Viking village and living history battle re-enactment to ever be produced in Ireland. An interactive display of Viking life will be on show and will include a showcase of Viking weapons, stories, leather making, archery and silversmiths to name just a few.
St. Anne’s Park will host the event and is, in itself, a beautiful Dublin attraction. Once owned by the famous Guinness family, St. Anne’s is one of Dublin’s largest parks.
After the Viking festival, explore the parks many features including the duck pond, a walled garden and a grand avenue – all created by the Guinness family.
